Broodwing Guide

Roblox bird survival and roleplay

Broodwing

Broodwing puts you in the feathers of a wild bird: fly the valley, hunt, build a nest, raise chicks and grow from hatchling to adult. These guides cover the loop, the six game passes and every number the game makes public.

Start with these3

Broodwing is a Roblox bird survival game: you hatch as a chick, learn to fly, hunt across a wide valley, build a nest, raise a family and grow into an adult bird. Realistics Studios published it on 21 October 2026, and by 1 November it had passed 667,000 visits. This site collects what the game tells you - pass prices, the four birds, every dated change, the live numbers - and puts the advice around it.

What you actually do in Broodwing

The loop is short: you start as a baby bird, you eat what an adult brings or what you can reach, you grow, and you fly the valley yourself. Adults hunt, pair up, build a nest and lay eggs - and those eggs become the next chick somebody plays.

The valley has three usable layers: grass where small prey moves, canopy that gives cover and nest sites, and water where fish are. The official description lists exactly two prey types - fish and bunnies - so the interesting decisions are about where you nest and who you nest with.

Families are the social layer: join one, take a role, feed chicks that are not yours. Servers hold 35 players - small enough that a family is a real group.

What makes it different from other bird games

Most Roblox animal games stop at "be an animal and explore". Broodwing goes a step further: you lay the egg, feed the chick, and another player grows up in the nest you built.

Before your first flight

StepWhat to doWhy it matters
1Finish the chick stage before exploringChicks depend on feeds; adults can hunt for themselves
2Find water earlyFish are the reliable food source and the pond is the easiest landmark to navigate by
3Earmark a nest site above the waterlineA nest near food shortens every trip you will make as a parent
4Join a family before you build aloneTwo adults can cover hunting and guarding at the same time
5Check the pass list before spending RobuxFive passes are priced from 250 to 450 R$; one of them also works in another game

Four questions players ask first

Is Broodwing free?

Yes. Broodwing is free on Roblox; the six game passes change your bird's appearance rather than gating the game.

How many birds are there?

Four with official evidence: Barn Owl, Bald Eagle, Duck and Black Swan. The game name rotates a featured bird (it reads [BarnOwl] Broodwing now), and more birds are coming.

Do I need a game pass to enjoy it?

No. The free birds play the same loop; a pass changes what you look like and, for the eagle, adds a second game.

How big is the game right now?

On 1 November 2026 it had 667,623 visits, 7,901 favourites and 1,733 players online at 08:12. They move daily; the player count page explains how to read them.

How to read this site

New players should start with the beginner guide and keep the valley map open beside it. If you are already flying and dying, read hunting and food and nest building first - most losses come from a bad nest.

Deciding whether to spend Robux? Read game passes then prices in Robux. For what you are buying rather than what it costs, the bird roster lists the four birds.

For the state of the game rather than help with it, the release timeline and patch notes cover every dated change since launch.
