Safety and scams
Never enter your Roblox password on a page that is not roblox.com, buy passes only from the in-game or game-page store, and treat any offer of free passes or codes as a scam.
Broodwing is a Roblox game, which means the safety rules that matter are Roblox's rules plus the scams that follow any popular new game. Nothing on this page is specific to a Broodwing incident; it is the standard playbook, applied to this game's store and community.
The three scams that target new games
| Scam | How it works | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Fake pass store | A site offers passes or Robux at a discount and asks for your login | Buy only on roblox.com; never enter your password off-site |
| Free code page | A page promises codes in exchange for a "verification" step | There are no Broodwing codes; close the page |
| Account trade | Someone offers a "rare account" or a bird for your password | Never trade accounts; Roblox does not support it |
All three rely on a player wanting something badly enough to leave the game for it. The defence is a rule you can apply without thinking: if it is not on roblox.com, it is not real.
Buying passes safely
Broodwing's paid content is six game passes, listed on the game page. The safe route is short:
- Open the game page on roblox.com and use the store tab there, or the in-game store.
- Check the price against the game passes page - five passes are 250 to 450 R$, and the Black Swan shows no price.
- Never buy from a "reseller", a Discord middleman, or a site that asks for your Robux password.
If a price looks too good - a 450 R$ pass for 100 R$ - it is not a discount, it is a theft attempt.
Account security basics
| Setting | Recommended | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Two-step verification | On | Stops a stolen password from becoming a stolen account |
| Password | Unique, not reused | The main route into a Roblox account is a password reused elsewhere |
| Verified and current | Recovery depends on it | |
| Login notifications | On | You find out when someone else signs in |
| Device management | Review monthly | Removes sessions you do not recognise |
These are platform settings, not game settings, and they apply to every Roblox game you play.
For parents
Roblox has account-level controls that matter more than anything a game can offer: account restrictions limit what a child can see and who can message them, a PIN locks the settings, spend limits cap Robux purchases, and session reports show what a child played and with whom. Set a PIN and a spend limit before the first session - it is easier than negotiating after one.
In-game behaviour
Broodwing is a 35-player social game with a roleplay layer, and that means strangers will talk to you. Two rules cover most of it:
- Do not share personal details. No real name, school, address, or other accounts.
- Use the report and block tools. Roblox's reporting is the only channel that actually does anything; arguing in chat does not.
If someone is trying to get you to move to another platform to "trade" or "join a family", that is a red flag. Families in Broodwing exist inside the game, and the family page explains how they work without any external contact.
What Broodwing does not ask for
The game lists no official Discord, no code redemption system, and no trading. That means any message claiming to be "Broodwing staff" asking for your password, your Robux, or a code is fake by definition - there is no staff channel that would do it.
| Claim | Reality |
|---|---|
| "Official Broodwing Discord" | Not listed by the developer |
| "Redeem this code" | No codes published as of 2026-11-01 |
| "Trade your bird" | No trading system in the game |
| "Buy passes cheap here" | Passes are sold on roblox.com only |
If something goes wrong
If you think your account is compromised: change the password, turn on two-step verification, and sign out all other sessions from the Roblox settings page. If you were scammed out of Robux, report it to Roblox support - transactions with third parties are not recoverable, which is exactly why the rule is "only on roblox.com".
If a site is impersonating Broodwing Guide or the game, the contact page is the way to tell us.

Reporting and blocking, step by step
Roblox's tools are the only ones that actually act on a report, and they are two clicks deep.
- Open the player's profile from the in-game player list or the chat name.
- Use the report option on the profile and pick the closest category.
- Block the player if you do not want to see them again.
- For a chat message, use the report option on the message itself - it captures the text.
Reports go to Roblox, not to the game's developers, and not to this site. Blocking is instant and local: it stops the player from joining your sessions and messaging you.
| What happened | Where to report |
|---|---|
| Scam attempt in chat | Roblox report on the message |
| Inappropriate behaviour | Roblox report on the profile |
| A site impersonating the game | Roblox support, plus the contact page here |
| Lost Robux to a third party | Roblox support; transactions are usually not reversible |
What to do after a scam attempt
Change your password first, then turn on two-step verification, then sign out other sessions. Do those three in that order: a password change ends the attacker's access, two-step stops them getting back in, and signing out other sessions clears anything they left open.
