Release timeline
Broodwing was created on 2026-10-21, added duck passes on 10-24, barn owl variants on 10-28, and Black Swan plus a 23:47 update on 10-31.
Broodwing launched on 21 October 2026 and changed four times in its first eleven days. This page is the dated record: what was created when, what was added, and what the game looked like at the 1 November snapshot. For the version-by-version detail, the patch notes page covers the same window in build order.

Launch week: one bird, one pass
The launch state was thin by design: one paid pass, the Leucistic Bald Eagle at 450 R$, available from day one. That is unusual for a Roblox launch - most games open with a store full of cosmetics - and it tells you something about how the studio built the game: the bird roster came first, the store second.
The game's own name carried a rotating tag from the start. It currently reads "[BarnOwl] Broodwing", with the bracket showing the week's featured bird. At launch the featured bird would have been whichever one the studio was pushing at the time; the tag is a marketing slot, not a permanent name.
Week two: ducks and owls
Two drops landed in the second week, each a pair of colour variants:
| Date | Drop | Price each | What it was |
|---|---|---|---|
| 24 October | Ducks | 250 R$ | The cheapest bird in the store, two colours |
| 28 October | Barn owls | 350 R$ | The featured bird, two colours |
The pattern is consistent: one bird family per drop, two colourways, priced by the size of the bird. Ducks at 250, owls at 350, the eagle at 450. Whatever the studio adds next will probably slot into that ladder.
The 31 October night build
The last change in the window is the interesting one. At 23:42 the Black Swan pass was created, and at 23:47 - five minutes later - the game itself was updated. That is a late-night ship, and it is the only time in the window that a pass and a build landed within minutes of each other.
What that build changed is not in a public changelog, so the honest reading is the observable one: a new bird went into the store, the game was rebuilt immediately afterwards, and the swan is the only pass in the set without a visible price. Whether the price is coming, or the swan is meant to be earned another way, is not stated anywhere public.
What the numbers looked like on 1 November
| Metric | Value | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Visits | 667,623 | Total joins since launch |
| Favourites | 7,901 | Players who bookmarked the game |
| Players online | 1,733 | Concurrent players at 08:12 |
| Server size | 35 | Players per server |
| Game passes | 6 | Five priced, one without |
| Studio group | 25,659 members | Realistics Studios group |
The visit count is the headline: 667,623 in eleven days is a strong launch for a Roblox survival game, and the concurrent figure - 1,733 at eight in the morning China time, which is late evening in the US - suggests the audience is spread across time zones rather than concentrated in one.
How to read this timeline
Dates in this table come from Roblox's own records: the game's creation and update timestamps, and the creation dates attached to each game pass. They are in UTC, which means a late-night change can appear on the previous day depending on where you are.
If you are checking whether the game is still being updated, compare the update timestamp on the game page with the last entry here. Anything after 31 October 2026 is newer than this snapshot, and the patch notes is the page that will be updated first.
What has not changed
Four things have been constant since launch and are worth recording because they are the game's actual shape:
- The loop. Hatch, grow, fly, hunt, nest, raise - the official description has described the same cycle since day one.
- The prey. Fish and bunnies, no additions.
- The server size. 35 players, unchanged.
- The bird list. Four birds with official evidence, growing one at a time.
Everything else - prices, colours, the store - has moved. If you are coming back to the game after a break, the loop is the part you do not need to relearn, and the beginner guide is the fastest refresher.
