What the passes cost in real money
All five priced passes add up to 1,650 R$, roughly US$20.4 at the 80 R$/$0.99 pack rate. Buying one colour variant alone costs 250 to 450 R$.
Five of Broodwing's six game passes have a price, and the five add up to 1,650 R$. This page does the arithmetic, converts it at the standard Roblox rate, and lays out the cheaper routes if you do not want the whole set.
The full bill
| Pass | Price (R$) | Running total (R$) | Approx. US$ at 80 R$ / $0.99 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Melanistic Duck | 250 | 250 | 3.09 |
| Leucistic Duck | 250 | 500 | 6.19 |
| Melanistic Barn Owl | 350 | 850 | 10.52 |
| Leucistic Barn Owl | 350 | 1,200 | 14.85 |
| Leucistic Bald Eagle | 450 | 1,650 | 20.42 |
| Black Swan | not shown | 1,650 | — |
The conversion uses Roblox's 80 R$ pack, which sells for US$0.99 in the store: 1 R$ = US$0.012375. At that rate 1,650 R$ is US$20.42, which is why the shorthand everywhere is "about twenty dollars for everything".
What that means in packs
Roblox sells Robux in fixed packs, so the practical question is which pack covers the bill. At the standard pricing a 1,700 R$ pack is US$19.99, and 1,650 R$ fits inside it with 50 R$ left over. Buying smaller packs to reach the same total costs more per Robux, so if you are buying the full set, one large pack is the efficient route.
| What you buy | Robux needed | Closest pack | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| One duck colour | 250 | 400 R$ pack | Leaves 150 R$ spare |
| Both ducks | 500 | 800 R$ pack | Still cheaper than two small packs |
| Both owls | 700 | 800 R$ pack | 100 R$ spare |
| The eagle alone | 450 | 800 R$ pack | 350 R$ spare |
| Everything priced | 1,650 | 1,700 R$ pack | 50 R$ spare |
The exact pack prices vary by region and by platform, and Apple or Google storefronts add their own cut. The Robux totals in the left column are the part that does not change.
Four ways to spend, ranked by value
1. Nothing at all
The free birds play every part of the loop. If you have not played a full session yet, this is the correct amount to spend - the passes change appearance, not capability, and you cannot know which bird you want until you have flown one.
2. One duck, 250 R$
The cheapest way to change how you look. Two variants exist, dark and white, and both cost the same. If you like the duck's movement and just want a colour, this is the smallest sensible purchase in the store.
3. The eagle, 450 R$
The only pass that also works in another game. If you play both Broodwing and Village Survival, the 450 R$ eagle is effectively two cosmetics for the price of one, which makes it the best value item on the list even though it is the most expensive single pass.
4. Everything, 1,650 R$
Worth it if you already know you are staying. That is roughly US$20 for five colour variants, and it removes the whole question of "which one" permanently. It is a bad first purchase and a reasonable third-week purchase.
The Black Swan problem
Black Swan is the sixth pass and the only one without a price. It appeared on 31 October 2026, ten days after launch, and the Roblox page shows no price as of 1 November. That means it cannot be included in the 1,650 R$ total without inventing a number.
Practically, treat it as a pass to watch: if a price appears, the "everything" total will rise by that amount. The release timeline tracks the date, and the game passes page keeps the entry with its empty price field rather than guessing.
Is any of this pay to win?
No, on the evidence the store provides. Every pass description is a cosmetic variant name - leucistic or melanistic plus a bird - and not one of the six mentions a stat, a multiplier, a growth boost or an extra nest slot. The paid layer is appearance and, for the eagle, a second game.
That is worth saying plainly because Roblox pass stores often are not: Broodwing's own descriptions are the source, and they are unusually clean. If a future pass adds something mechanical, it will show up as a new row on the game passes page with a description that says so.
What to check before you buy
| Check | Why |
|---|---|
| Is the bird you want already free? | Four birds exist; only the colour variants are paid |
| Do you play Village Survival? | If yes, the eagle is double value |
| Is the price visible on the page? | Black Swan has no price; do not buy from a reseller |
| Are you buying from roblox.com? | Any other storefront is a scam route |
The bird roster lists which birds are free and which are pass-only, and the safety page covers the fake-store scam that follows every popular Roblox game.
Regional pricing
Robux prices are not identical worldwide: regional storefronts and platform fees (Apple, Google, console stores) change what a pack costs in your currency. The Robux totals on this page do not change - 250, 350 and 450 are the numbers on the pass, and 1,650 is their sum - but the dollar figure is a conversion at the standard 80 R$ pack rate rather than a quote for your region.
If you are buying on a phone, check the pack price in your store before you commit: the same 1,700 R$ pack can cost more through an app store than through the web store.
